Marketing Manager
Position: Senior Marketing Manager
Role Purpose
- Lead the team to collect and analyze business intelligence support for commercial and innovation projects, including market and competitive dynamics, application trends and consumer insights
- Promote Flavor Solutions with emphasizing McCormick strength and benefit to customers
Main Responsibilities:
Market & competitive intelligence
- Collect market & competitive intelligence by consolidating the information from external 3rd party report, customers and internal related teams.
- Analyze the marketing information and provide insight into market/consumer trends and competitors’ activity to meet internal and external customer’s needs.
- Support the team to work out long term strategy
Consumer insight
- Monitor local NPD trends and consumer behavior, to find market gap & potential needs for solution development, through close collaboration with the marketing team in retail business
- Leverage success cases and resources in other regions to support local business
- Present and perform the menu insight, market research results and consumer preference to make recommendation for the concept development.
Marketing
- Work out and implement marketing strategy with alignment with global.
- Prepare and regularly update marketing materials to support the team to promote the company’s strengths and value to the customers
- Be a member of Mc China Flavor Solutions Leadership team and Flavor Solutions Global Marketing Leadership team representing China
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree required, MBA will be a plus
- Minimum of 10-years of marketing experience in related industry, with at least 5-years experience in a managerial role
- In-depth knowledge Food & Beverage division and broad knowledge of McCormick’s overall offerings.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with industry executives.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in mandarin and English.
