A/R Financial Analyst   

Łódź

 

We are looking for A/R Financial Analyst who has a very good understanding of finance & accounting from a financial perspective. Very good knowledge of technical activities and procedures, business expertise is at a high level- aware of how the assigned duties contribute to the work of the team as well as how the work of the team impacts others and contributes to business results. AR Financial Analyst works well independently with very little level of a supervision from direct Supervisor.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Administer complex and comprehensive validation of cash discounts and shortage deductions by 3rd party customer in accordance with documented Policies, Procedures & Financial Controls, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Activities include identification of invalid deductions and P&L impact resulting from recovery of these deductions. 
  • Collection of invalid cash discounts and shortages taken by 3rd party customers 
  • Provide insight & analytical expertise in supporting deduction root cause analysis & solutions including 
  • First level contact for 3rd party customers for invalid cash discounts and invalid shortage deductions 
  • Various AR Activities: Customers’ contract book management (Verification &Loading), Customer Allowances, Accrual Adjustments, Billing, Cash Application Management, Deduction Management, Invoice Corrections, Reporting. 
  • Lead Process Improvement and OGSM initiatives which are impactful across the SOTC thread. 
  • Provide Ad Hoc financial and administrative analysis supporting special projects and specific business requests 
  • Performing internal process audits 
  • Provide regular and ad hoc sales analysis and reporting for internal and external users 
  • Buddy for newcomers 
  • Coordination of the regular meetings with the Business, regular follow ups 

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • N/A certifications
  • At least 3 year of experience on similar position in area of finance
  • Very good teamwork skills
  • Very good communication & presentation skills
  • Very good Analytical skills, ability to apply good judgment and solve complex problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority at all levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, under time and responsibility pressure to deliver desired results
  • Demonstrates strong initiative to drive improvement efforts
  • Fluent English
