Position: Financial Analyst II

Based: Łódź, Poland

This position is responsible for providing key financially driven insights to cross functional business partners, and actively participating in both short and long-term decision-making activities.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Work with Director of Finance and Shared Services Strategies and IT Finance Manager to set the timetable and process incorporating known changes and local and US requirements.
  • Obtain and validate payroll detail files for area of the business and update for relevant changes. Work with HR to ensure all HR information is gathered during the Budgeting process
  • Obtain understanding of specific functional plans and needs to build correct assumptions into the Budget.
  • Work with US Corporate Finance to validate underlying assumptions around tax implications and labour capitalization.
  • Set up the individual Capital Plan files for each of the functional areas.
  • Set up templates and load all budget data to TM1.
  • Provide variance analysis and bridges from the annual budget to previous periods, highlighting meaningful changes.
  • Provide the necessary data to the Director, Finance and Shared Services Strategies in relation to questions emanating from Corporate.
  • Work with Director of Finance and Shared Services Strategies and IT Finance Manager to set the timetable and process incorporating known changes and local and US requirements
  • Prepare monthly labour capitalization journal entries, review for manual accruals, and work closely with IT personnel to maintain accurate financials.
  • Generate monthly management reporting package, including P&L analysis, Capital Spend detail, and headcount data (coordinated with HR).
  • Identify and communicate financial performance variances as measured against overall goals (regular on-going).
  • The main Lodz finance point of contact for MSS Leadership related to the Lodz financials.
  • Perform other commands of supervisor.

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, MBA/CPA preferred
  • Fluency in English is required
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis required
  • Experience participating on projects preferred
  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of the capabilities of transaction & reporting systems including, but not limited to SAP, TM1, or other local systems.
  • In-depth understanding of available reporting drill down capabilities, and ability to organize data in a way that adds value to analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word and Power Point), with advanced Excel skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communications skills with a demonstrated ability to work across functions & cultures, and interact with all levels of the organization required
  • Demonstrated ability of being a dynamic self-starter, to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems with incomplete and/or ambiguous information and to proactively initiate action steps required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, apply judgment and ask for aid in prioritizing as applicable required
