EMEA Regulatory Compliance Analyst with French

The role to be part of the Regulatory Compliance Department as an individual contributor within the Regulatory Compliance Team. Works cross-functionally and independently with various local and international departments to manage and act as a lead on Regulatory Projects and Customers requests. Operational role primarily dealing with processes, systems and documentation.





  • Manages independently a variety of regulatory-related tasks related to Projects or Customers requests in regard to all aspects of the product lifecycle. Understands when to involve Team Leader in these communications. Demonstrates technical expertise and credibility in role and/or function.
  • Communicates effectively by e-mail, phone and in person with internal stakeholders, external vendors and other departments on a daily basis with regard to various aspects of regulatory product compliance.
  • Reviews and approves product formulations, product labels and/or documents to ensure their regulatory compliance for all required markets. For EMEA region also review and approve raw materials and packaging compliance.
  • Develops and propose guidelines and internal procedures to improve or streamline processes.
  • Manages Strategic size Projects or Customers. Effectively leads multi-functional projects to address and resolve regulatory issues.
  • Proactively communicates to direct supervisors on any potential changes that could improve ways of working within and outside of their primary scope of responsibilities.
  • Supports Technical Functions, Product Development, Commercialization and third-party audits for regulatory product compliance queries.
  • Provides weekly / monthly reports and / or updates the Projects to Team Leader.
  • Prepares and conducts internal Regulatory trainings.
  • High University diploma in Food Science or related discipline.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Food Industry or similar area.
  • Internal auditing experience will be an advantage.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy (specifically Excel, SAP, Outlook and Lotus Notes desirable).
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Quality Systems/Food Certification Standards (Halal/Kosher/Organic) will be an advantage.
  • Expertise in Food Law Requirements.
  • Possesses sufficient nutrition and food regulatory knowledge to interrelate meaningfully with other functions.
  • Leads and advises on regulatory assessments of Product Development and Commercialization projects.
  • Keeps abreast of local and international regulatory knowledge and implements validated action plans in response to regulatory changes.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Organized, methodical, detail oriented and ability to multitask.
  • Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, with high sense of urgency.
  • Proactive and flexible approach.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
