COE Commercial Finance Analyst

Łódź, Poland OR Stefanowo, Poland - Hybrid Setting

 

This role reporting to the Finance Director will be a Finance Business Partner to the Consumer commercial team, providing financial insights to drive improved decision-making and deliver business results through driving growth and profitability. Focus will be both strategic and tactical to achieve targeted near and long-term goals and objectives.

 

 

 

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Prepare analysis and insights on the key drivers of financial performance for the Consumer business unit. Interprets and analyze customer specific requests from the sales team and partner to develop financial P&Ls and analytics

 

  • Provide analytical support and performance insights to the EMEA Consumer Commercial Center of Excellence (COE), enabling data-driven commercial decision-making.

 

  • SG&A cost monitoring and control. Analysis and reporting to management potential initiatives for profit optimization and supporting in decision making.

 

  • Support month-end processes, quarterly financial forecast and budget and daily sales reporting.

 

  • Support monthly and quarterly corporate reporting requirements for Net Sales and Gross Profit drivers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate requirements.

 

  • Financial data maintenance – support new product code creation, maintain product    mapping, create system inputs of key financials during forecast and budget cycles and work to improve core commercial finance processes and reporting.

 

  • Ensure all processes are documented and Sarbanes Oxley compliant.

 

  • Asset accounting management with CAAP budget for equipment, keep track of budget, construction in progress and appropriate capitalization according to GAAP and company reporting; keep inventory of fixed assets and review it to support alignment between books and reality.

 

  • Support supply chain finance: assess inventory and current procedures on the system, understand movements, valuation changes and revaluations. Produce inventory reports (ITO, DOH, stock categories), product cost analysis and current stock assessments.

 

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • High level of Excel skills required and preferably experience of TM1.
  • Experience in communicating effectively and building positive working relationships with commercial teams.
  • Fluent English language knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights to support decision making.
  • Strong personal leadership, being able to work in a results-driven culture with big focus on execution.
  • Demonstrates initiative, accountability and adopts a perspective of continuous improvement.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to manage to deadlines.
