Working as a member of the GBS Capability & Governance team. The purpose of this role is to design, implement, and continuously enhance global capability development frameworks that strengthen organizational skills, learning culture, and talent readiness across GBS.

 

This role is accountable for managing the GBS Academy, overseeing learning governance and reporting, administering the Learning Management System (LMS), and driving structured capability-building initiatives such as skill matrix, succession planning support, global onboarding programs, and strategic alignment initiatives.

 

The Capability Development Specialist partners with functional leaders, internal instructors, and global stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives are aligned with business strategy, performance expectations, and long-term talent development priorities. The geographic scope of this position is global.

 

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Govern, structure, and continuously improve the GBS Academy to ensure alignment with business strategy and capability priorities.
  • Develop and maintain learning dashboards, such as Power BI, to track participation, completion rates, capability development progress, and program effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor annual learning goals, benchmark performance, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Design, implement, and enhance structured capability development programs, including:
    • Global onboarding frameworks and standardized onboarding journeys
    • Global skill matrices aligned to role expectations
    • Talent matrix frameworks and capability visibility tools
    • Processes to identify capability gaps and support succession planning

 

  • Administer and optimize the Learning Management System, including course management, assignments, tracking, reporting accuracy, and system improvements.
  • Support internal instructors by providing training standards, templates, guidance, and best practices for effective learning design and delivery.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality LMS usage and learning delivery across global regions.
  • Drive engagement and awareness initiatives that promote learning culture and strategic alignment.
  • Increase visibility of capability development initiatives and reinforce the value of continuous learning within GBS.

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • Degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, Education, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, Capability Development, HR Development, or Organizational Development.
  • Fluent English language knowledge.
  • Experience administering an LMS, ideally SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint skills.
  • Experience with dashboards, learning analytics, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of skill matrices, competency frameworks, or structured learning pathways preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence learning adoption across global teams.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn learning data into actionable recommendations.

 

 

Compensation: starting from 115,710 PLN annually gross.

Final salary will be determined as part of any final offer and will consider factors such as skills, education, role-specific experience, and internal equity among current employees.
