EMEA Data Team Lead

EMEA Data Team Lead has responsibility for managing, supervising, and directing all aspects of master data relationships. The position leads business support, error resolution, and maintenance and administration for either materials, bill of materials and recipe master data or pricing, customer, and vendor master data, while ensuring compliance with SOX financial controls. The position services multiple business withing McCormick EMEA, North America and APZ. In addition, this position represents the FSS Master Data Team in new product launches initiatives, manages the Change Master Process, and plays a key role in the assimilation of acquisition master data into the SAP environment.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading complex process and system cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Representation of FSS in business planning activities, assigns resources and tracks and communicates progress on major business initiatives including new product launches.
  • Master data lead with Business to support workflow enhancements and optimization.
  • Supervision, leading, coaching, motivating, and developing the team.
  • Taking responsibility for supporting master data (emergency SAP/legacy) maintenance requests and incidents.
  • Responsible for all master data business training and customer support programs.
  • Implementing master data archiving and deletion procedure processes for.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Engineering, Food science or related field will be preferable.
  • At least 7 years of progressive, broad business experience in areas such as Materials Management, Planning, Production, Warehousing, Order Management, Purchasing, Supply Planning or Quality.
  • Demonstrated PC/software skills with Words, Excel and Notes database applications.
  • Ability to implement process improvements and work under deadlines.
  • SAP experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading, developing dynamic work teams.
  • Proven experience in execution of large, multiple, or cross-functional projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead and influence without formal authority.
  • Proactive approach to establish data standards and challenge non-standards processes when necessary.
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data governance knowledge and benchmarking with peer companies.
  • Fluent English is a must, any other language will be an advantage
