Finance Analyst - Global SCF Systems

The Global SCF Senior Finance manager works with the Finance Business Partners across SCF to standardize, simplify and harmonise processes. He/she will help the senior manager to develop processes and reports that are insightful to main stakeholders, aligned across EMEA and North America. He/She will be responsible for supporting the implementation, training the teams and ensuring full understanding. In addition they are responsible for the Global SCF Budget Process, managing the calendar, weekly meetings and any trainings required. The analyst will be required to foster relationships within the Global Supply Chain Finance teams and will support the planning of key finance processes such as budget & SCF calendars.
Main Responsibilities
- Support process improvement initiatives and systems changes in Supply Chain Finance by mapping and analyzing current processes, supporting the rollout of new processes defined by the Senior Manager, communicating changes, ensuring stakeholder engagement, monitoring results and optimizing processes when needed.
- Coordinate the Supply Chain Finance Budget, Forecast and Standard Setting timetables, ensuring alignment with Supply Chain Finance and Global Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Support Operations Costing teams when required by processing product costing within agreed timelines, setting standard prices for both regions, completing analyses and communicating findings.
- Support ad hoc tasks, including Business Income & Insurance data gathering for Corporate submissions.
Candidate Profile
- BA/BS degree required.
- Relevant regional accounting qualification, such as CIMA, ACA or CPA, would be an advantage.
- Good accounting background.
- Experience in financial data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in cost accounting.
- Experience in finance harmonization projects.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, including Power Query.
- Power BI experience would be a plus.
- Good SAP knowledge.
- Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Broad understanding of Supply Chain business.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good technical finance and commercial understanding.
- Drive to identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
- Ability to assimilate information, comment on it and make proposals.
