MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work prioritization and communication for Certification Team based on business needs and available resources.
• Providing expertise to the Team on overall certification management in NA and EMEA regions.
• Planning resources, projects, forecasting and providing regular updates on project progress.
• Leads multi-functional projects and ensures internal procedures and work instructions are in place. Identifies and implements process improvements.
• KPI reporting on a monthly and weekly basis. Ensuring KPIs and customer targets for timeliness and accuracy are met. 
• Acts as a first point of contact for escalations, manage RCA and CAPA for non-conformity. 
• Responsible for employee coaching and development - recruitment, training, performance management and adherence to McCormick competencies and values. Monitoring risk of loss and potential development of team members.
• Recertification payments management. 
• Up to 30% of operational work based on business priorities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• High University diploma in Food Science or related discipline.
• 1- 4 years’ experience in Food Industry or similar area.
• 1-2 years’ experience in People Management.
• Ability to work on a rotating (morning/afternoon) shift. 
• Knowledge of the certification standards for Kosher, HALAL, Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Gluten Free.
• Fluent command of English, knowledge of French, Spanish or Italian languages will be a plus.
• Strong People Management Skills.
• Organized, methodical, detail oriented and capable of multitasking. 
• Able to prioritize and manage time and team effectively, with high sense of urgency. 
• Advanced Project Management Skills and Process Improvement skills.
• Strong Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Skills.
• Food law knowledge will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Food Safety Quality Systems/Food Certification Standards (Halal/Kosher/Organic) will be an advantage.
