HR BUSINESS PARTNER

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Director of Human Relations, and based in Lodz, you will act as a strategic business partner to internal customers and their respective leadership teams. You will support the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives that enable the organization’s short- and long-term goals and objectives.

In this role, you will develop and drive a consistent approach to implementing HR programs and practices across Global Business Solutions teams in Poland, the US, Canada, Mexico and India.

You will also use both qualitative and quantitative data analysis to assess business partner needs, identify external trends and develop recommendations and solutions that support effective business decisions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will:

  • Provide consultation and guidance through close partnership with client groups to establish relevant functional goals and objectives.
  • Support recruitment, training, mentoring of managers and employees.
  • Create and analyse HR data reports for teams and business needs.
  • Drive consistent adoption and adherence to HR programs, policies and procedures across partnership areas.
  • Identify and define employee engagement opportunities and provide input into departmental structure and organizational design.
  • Act as a horizontal process owner to develop, implement and administer HR programs, policies, procedures and practices consistently across client groups, in support of McCormick’s philosophy and core values.
  • Support key HR processes and programs, including High Performance, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Voice of Employee (VOE), Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures (OGSMs), Talent Management, Development Planning and Compensation programs.
  • Drive HR process improvement, special projects and effective change management programs and initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Apply sound judgment and consider global impact when developing solutions.

 

DESIRED PROFILE:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or a related field.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • HR experience, including close collaboration with business stakeholders and management.
  • Strong business partnering skills in a cross-functional, global support services environment.
  • Knowledge of key employment laws and ability to apply them in HR recommendations and solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  • Data-oriented mindset, with strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong business acumen, customer focus, ethical standards and professional maturity.
