The HR Operations Team Lead is responsible for delivering best-in-class HR solutions for designated scope of global processes, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines, HR policies, and local regulations.
The Team Lead provides inspirational leadership to a multicultural team of Specialists and/or Analysts, promoting collaboration and inclusivity while optimizing resources and delivering operational excellence by meeting performance targets. The role highly contributes to the successful implementation and stabilization of a follow-the-sun model for the global HR team to foster innovation through process improvements, AI, and automation solutions.
The role involves building strong partnerships with HR Business Partners and HR peers, serving as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues, reporting to manager when necessary.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. HR Service Delivery
- Delivers best-in-class HR solutions for designated scope of global processes, driving operational performance while ensuring an exceptional, high-quality, and consistently reliable employee experience. Ensures the high performance of the designated HR Operations team within established KPI targets, following the Joint Accountability Agreement and cascaded goals.
- Leads the successful implementation and stabilization of a follow-the-sun model for the global HR Operations, ensuring a consistent and exceptional employee experience of the processes in-scope. Ensures the team performance is in alignment with global HR policies, corporate guidelines, and local regulations, including adherence to relevant SOX controls.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the Team to enhance service delivery and align to the global model. Lead to identify opportunities for innovation, including leveraging AI and automation to improve efficiency. Collaborate close with Solution Owners to streamline the processes in-scope and implement technology-driven solutions.
- Lead projects, balancing core work with geographic expansion or new service implementation, all in alignment with the company’s governance framework and with Manager’s support.
2. Team Leadership and Development
- Manages and develops the team HR Operation Specialists/Analysts, fostering global collaboration and a high-performance culture. Set clear expectations to the team following cascaded goals and KPIs targets, ensuring team accountability and delivery.
- Provides inspirational and effective leadership, direction, and support to a multicultural team, embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion as core values.
- Oversees team capacity, ensuring resources are optimized to maintain high-level performance and deliver consistent, reliable, and engaging services. Reports capacity challenges to the Manager.
- Ensures team members receive appropriate training, coaching, and mentoring to keep their technical and operational skills up-to-date. Collaborate close with other HR Analysts to onboard and train new team members.
3. Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
- Builds strong partnerships with HR Business Partners and collaborates closely to ensure support of local needs while maintaining consistency of global HR operating model. Collaborates to educate HR partners and COE representatives on processes within scope, clarifying responsibilities as outlined in the Joint Accountability Agreement.
- Serves as the escalation point for complex operational issues, reporting to the Manager when necessary. Manages the team to ensure root cause analysis (RCA) is conducted and escalation details are logged appropriately.
- Represents Solution Center in cross-functional projects and global initiatives. Partners with functional teams to implement and maintain HR technology solutions that support global operations.
- Partners closely with other Team Leads, Analysts and HR peers to ensure aligned decisions for optimizing process delivery.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
- Fluent English language knowledge. Knowledge of other languages is nice to have.
- Strong experience in managing and delivering HR solutions in SSC or BPO model, within a regional or global scope, in a multinational environment.
- Experience in formal or informal leading or coordinating teams to success in diverse and dynamic environments.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality operational services while adhering to established KPIs and governance frameworks (e.g., SOX controls). Experience in working with ticketing tools.
- Proven track record in optimizing regional or global processes, conducting audits, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to set clear objectives, provide direction, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage relationships and business expectations.
- Some project and change management experience is not mandatory, but nice to have.
