Indirect Tactical Buyer

Łódź, Poland - hybrid model 

 

The Tactical Buyer supports procurement activities at the tactical level. This role assists with implementing Indirect Procurement category strategies by translating them into operational activities and providing day-to-day support to Category Managers and Procurement Managers.

The Tactical Buyer is also responsible for non-strategic sourcing projects within selected categories, including Capex, MRO, and Real Estate Management.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage non-strategic sourcing activities
  • Support tail spend management
  • Maintain and manage catalog content
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare reports
  • Provide initial support in resolving supplier issues and escalate where appropriate
  • Monitor supplier and procurement process performance
  • Review Purchase Requisitions within agreed approval thresholds
  • Occasionally deputize for Category Managers

 

Candidate Profile

  • Solid experience in an international work environment
  • Previous experience in procurement and sourcing
  • Practical, proven experience participating in sourcing project teams, either as a team member or project lead
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Engineering degree
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to change
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at different organizational levels
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken) 

Nice to Have #LI-DNI

  • Experience with SAP MM; working knowledge of SAP Ariba would be an asset
  • French language skills
  • Experience in Capex, MRO, Real Estate Management, and/or indirect procurement

 

Compensation: starting from PLN gross 9250 per month STARTING SALARY

Final salary will be determined as part of any final offer and will consider factors such as skills, education, role-specific experience, and internal equity among current employees.
