International Trade Compliance Analyst

Łódź, Poland - hybrid setting

Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Classify products using customs tariff codes and determine country of origin.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, and sanitary/phytosanitary regulations.
  • Advise on import/export requirements, including documentation, licenses, and registrations.
  • Manage customs procedures, brokerage processes, and trade compliance master data in SAP/GTS.
  • Screen business partners against sanctions and restricted party lists.
  • Support import/export audits and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Regulatory, QA, R&D, Finance, Customer Service) and external authorities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide timely support on cross-border issues to ensure business continuity.

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

 

  • Degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in international trade, customs or trade compliance.
  • Good Knowledge of EU/US customs regulations and global trade compliance principles.
  • Experience in the food industry or with sanitary/phytosanitary regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong systems skills, ideally including SAP, GTS, or other ERP platforms.
  • Fluent English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
