We are seeking a Principal Data Engineer to lead data engineering initiatives, define data architecture, and mentor high-performing teams. This role combines technical leadership with close collaboration across business, product, and cloud teams to deliver scalable, secure analytics solutions

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, mentor, and develop Data and ML Engineers; promote collaboration and technical excellence.
• Define and evolve target data architecture and conceptual data models.
• Ensure best practices in data engineering, analytics, and operations.
• Partner with Product Owners to translate business goals into analytics roadmaps and delivery backlogs.
• Support vendor management and ensure compliance with data architecture standards.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects on scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Support data security and governance, ensuring alignment between source systems and the data platform.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Very strong expertise in data engineering; experience leading technical teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Fabric and Azure DevOps (CI/CD, agile).
• Experience in multi-cloud environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
