Process Automation Team Leader

Working as a member of the Central Capabilities Team under the general supervision of the Automation Director, this position is responsible for leading Junior Automation Team delivering maintenance of existing automations. Main duties within the role include but are not limited to: responding and addressing internal customer technical enquiries in a timely manner, to meet business and internal customer needs; aligning with automation counterparts in relation to automations methodology; providing development, growth and guidance for the team. The geographic scope of this position is global.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Junior Automation Team, provide development, growth and guidance for other employees.
- Act as an internal auditor for RPA Maintenance Team, ensuring KPIs and customer targets for timeliness and accuracy are met.
- Respond to internal customer technical enquiries in a timely manner, to meet business and internal customer needs.
- Build process improvement and problem-solving culture within the Team.
- Align with automation counterparts and work as ‘one team’ with fluid output of one automation methodology globally.
- Work in conjunction and collaboration with the wider Central Capabilities team.
- Champion and maintain all avenues of process discipline communication tools and forums to include key updates, insights and outputs of Process Discipline.
- Work in alignment with Knowledge Management COE on process and knowledge capture requirements.
- Continuously incorporate best practices and enrich current process documentation for automation.
- Actively manage automation maintenance pipeline in conjunction with Automation Manager and Developers.
- Lead and support projects within RPA fields, mainly related, but not limited to system upgrades and automation maintenance.
- Value add reporting and KPI’s for the Junior Automation team.
- Deliver automation KPI’s in alignment with cadence.
- Manage automaton hours/value realization reporting for team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- BA/BS degree in business, IT, engineering, or another relevant field OR enough experience in lieu of degree.
- Previous experience in people/ team management.
- Process improvement and facilitation experience will be essential.
- 2-4 years of demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and experiences with automation tools.
- Proven experience working with shared services processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, or Hire to Retire, Master Data Management).
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with SAP, GTS, and or BW/EDW business processes.
