REGULATORY COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Łódź, Polad - remote setting

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • The role to be part of the Regulatory Compliance Department as an individual contributor within the Regulatory Compliance Team. Works cross-functionally and independently with various local and international departments to manage and act as a lead on Regulatory Projects and Customers requests. The operational role primarily dealing with processes, systems and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively by e-mail, phone and in person with internal stakeholders, external vendors and other departments on a daily basis with regard to various aspects of regulatory product compliance.
  • Review and approve product formulations, product labels and/or documents to ensure their regulatory compliance. For EMEA region also review and approve raw materials.
  • Manage and update regulatory compliance databases.
  • Manage Value to Medium size Projects or Customers.
  • Support work instructions creation.
  • Evaluate and propose to supervisors on any potential changes that could improve ways of working.
  • Support technical functions, product development, commercialization and third-party audits for regulatory product compliance queries.
  • Provide weekly / monthly reports and / or updates to projects to Regulatory Team Leader.
  • Track down data of claims used on customer products, report progress to direct manager.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High University diploma in Food Science or related discipline.
  • min. 1-year experience in Food Industry or similar area.
  • Fluent English. Additional language: French, Spanish, Italian (or other) will be an advantage.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy (specifically Excel, SAP, Outlook and Lotus Notes desirable).
  • Familiar with Food Law Requirements. Understands specific food safety management and food regulatory issues, possesses sufficient understanding on product composition and communication of regulatory information.
  • Has fundamental knowledge of local food legislation, how a recipe and label are developed and how the food chain impacts on food safety.
  • Contributes to regulatory assessments of Product Development and Commercialization projects, able to apply the experience gained and engage with the business.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Quality Systems/Food Certification Standards (Halal/Kosher/Organic) will be an advantage.
  • Good analytical and statistical skills.
  • Organized, methodical, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, with a high sense of urgency. Proactive and flexible approach.
