Raw Material Analyst

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages independently a variety of raw material related tasks related to Projects or Customers requests regarding all aspects of the product lifecycle. Understands when to involve Team Leader in these communications. Demonstrates technical expertise and credibility in role and/or function.
- Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors of raw materials/packaging and other departments on a daily basis with regard to various aspects of regulatory product compliance.
- Supports Technical Functions, Product Development, Commercialization and third-party audits for raw material product compliance queries
- Procedures and work instructions creation and maintenance. Develops and propose guidelines and internal procedures to improve or streamline processes.
- Manages strategic size projects. Effectively leads multi-functional projects to address and resolve raw material issues
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- University diploma in Food Science or related discipline
- Previous experience (minimum 2-3 years’) in Food Industry or similar area
- Internal auditing experience will be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Organized, methodical, detail oriented and ability to multitask
- Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, with high sense of urgency
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across the business functions, and work effectively as part of a team
- Advanced level of computer literacy (specifically Excel, SAP).
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of Food Safety Quality Systems/Food Certification Standards (Halal/Kosher/Organic).
- Advises on raw material assessments of Product Development
