Safety Data Sheet Analyst

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create Safety Data Sheets for new products, maintain accurate Safety Data Sheets for existing products
- Define proper and compliant Hazard labeling
- Provide required Safety Data Sheets to internal and external stakeholders
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors and other departments on a daily basis with regard to various aspects of SDS compliance
- Lead medium size SDS projects
- Provides reports and updates
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Health and Safety (or closely related technical field)
- Fluent Business English
- Developed level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office package Excel, PPT, SAP preferred)
- Familiar with CLP, REACH
- Previous industry or SDS related work experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with OSHA safety and health regulations; TSCA registration and compliance; DOT/IATA regulations and compliance
- Working knowledge of the Global Harmonized System (GHS)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and with all levels of the organization and stakeholders
