Senior Financial Analyst - EMEA (m/f)

 

 

The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for activities related to a variety of areas, including serving as a key business partner to Regional or Functional Business Functions with respect to the financial management of SG&A, including cost center budgets/forecasts, month end processes, variance analysis, and supporting SOX controls. This role will also assist with broader SG&A analysis, reporting and ad hoc projects.


 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Financial liaison to Regional or Functional Business Partners, including preparing annual budgets, long-term planning, quarterly forecasts, month-end close processes, and ad hoc analytics.
  • Support cost center activity and lead quarterly reviews with Business Partners and Leadership.
  • Complete monthly reporting and analysis on cost center spend, including providing support/explanations for SOX controls.
  • Identify and implement process and report improvements as applicable.
  • Other ad hoc analysis and project support as required.
  • Support other Finance partners in the overall analysis of SG&A impact on P&L to drive enhanced visibility and insights.

 

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Solid experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance or related finance roles within a multinational organization.
  • Proactive, business-oriented attitude with ability to analyze problems and identify solutions.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, cost structures and financial performance drivers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Basic theoretical and practical understanding of US GAAP, SOX and Internal Control Requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to prioritize deliverables and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange complicated or sensitive information.
  • BW/HFM/TM1/Power BI experience is desirable.
  • Advanced or fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Teamwork – effectively works across business functions and different cultures.
