Senior Product Manager – Work Management Tools      




The Product Manager is accountable for defining, delivering, and evolving products they own (in this case PMO portfolio, program and project management tools) to advance the company’s growth, brand strategy, and consumer value proposition. Operating at the intersection of business strategy, consumer insights, and technology, this role translates enterprise and brand priorities into a clear product vision and actionable roadmap that drives measurable business outcomes.

As the voice of the customer and the business, the Product Manager partners closely with functional stakeholders and technology teams to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and ensure products are designed, built, and enhanced to meet needs at scale. The role balances short‑term delivery with long‑term value creation, ensuring products are competitive, compliant, and aligned with global and regional strategies.

 



RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap (WHAT and WHY) to maximize business value, optimize cost to deliver, and minimize risk while ensuring strong customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and support the product team to ensure alignment with business expectations and requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement through active participation and leadership in sprint retrospectives, removing impediments and optimizing team velocity without compromising quality.
  • Ensure all backlog items meet the Definition of Ready prior to sprint planning (properly sized, refined stories, agreed acceptance criteria).
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the Definition of Done before inclusion in sprint demos.
  • Act as the Product Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Communicate product value, features, and benefits clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support the Product Line Strategy Owner in shaping and detailing the product roadmap.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities to generate additional business value.
  • Own solution design for assigned products and ensure alignment with the broader product line strategy.
  • Serve as the voice of the product team to leadership, advocating for team priorities, highlighting achievements, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Promote Agile best practices and contribute to enhancing overall team effectiveness.
  • Maintain continuous professional development to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Extensive IT experience, with significant exposure to development and support of technology products.
  • Proven experience operating within Agile software development environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, communicate, and execute product strategies.
  • Solid understanding of portfolio, program, and project management processes and tools.
  • Working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Understanding of project financial management principles.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Leadership capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Strategic thinking combined with execution discipline.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to balance value delivery, cost optimization, and risk management.
