Supply Chain Data Product Manager (m/f)

About the Role

The Supply Chain Data Product Manager is accountable for the definition, prioritization, championing, and, most importantly, delivery of trusted, high-value Supply Chain data products that enable end-to-end visibility, operational agility, cost optimization, and service excellence across McCormick’s global supply network.

This role operates at the intersection of Supply Chain, Data & Analytics, and Technology — working in close partnership with Transformation & Technology (including Data & Analytics, Data Governance, Information Security, and Technology teams) and GBS (including Automation and Data Science & Engineering teams). The Supply Chain Data Product Manager connects people, platforms, and processes to establish a trusted, intelligent, and connected Supply Chain data foundation that supports demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, quality, procurement, logistics, inventory management, customer service, and network optimization.

This position requires strong business acumen in core Supply Chain processes (including demand-to-supply, plan-to-produce, source-to-pay, make-to-deliver, and inventory-to-cash), data fluency, product management discipline, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment. The Supply Chain Data Product Manager plays a critical role in advancing a data-driven Supply Chain organization, strengthening data integrity and governance, and enabling timely, accurate, and insight-driven decisions that improve service levels, reduce costs, mitigate risk, and drive resilient, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Supply Chain data product strategy aligned with functional and enterprise priorities.
  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Supply Chain data products using Agile methodologies.
  • Translate operational requirements into clear user stories and manage the product backlog.
  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, secure, and accessible data products.
  • Ensure alignment with operational KPIs and enterprise data governance standards.
  • Embed data quality, lineage, metadata, compliance, and traceability requirements into product design.
  • Monitor adoption, performance, and business impact, driving continuous improvement.
  • Promote responsible data usage and strengthen data culture across the Supply Chain organization.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience in data product management, data strategy, or governance within a complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Supply Chain processes and operational KPIs.
  • Knowledge of data architecture, governance, metadata management, and modern data product concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile, cross‑functional environments.
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen with ability to translate data into business value.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, data literacy, and ownership orientation.
