Position Overview

The Supply Chain Finance Analyst collaborates with Finance Business Partners to produce forward-looking supply chain analyses that inform decision-making and effectively communicate current results. Reporting directly to the EMEA COGS Reporting and Analysis Director, the analyst focuses on developing insightful reports and analyses for key stakeholders. This role involves fostering relationships within the EMEA Supply Chain functions and commercial teams, and identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and business growth through detailed analysis of operational and financial performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting and Analysis

  • Analyze performance data to generate insights, enabling finance business partners to offer targeted support to decision-makers.
  • Provide commentary on management reports, ensuring high-quality, concise, and focused management reporting.
  • Organize and lead monthly COGS reviews for various markets.
  • Support the preparation of EMEA Supply Chain Finance decks.
  • Identify continuous opportunities and methods for optimizing reporting processes.
  • Support product costing activities

Business Planning

  • Work with supply chain finance management, plant business partners and commercial teams to prepare reliable forecast/budget view
  • Support quarterly and annual planning activities on total EMEA level. 
  • Support quarterly, annual planning activities in SCF COE team. All to deliver high quality data with the commentary on time. 

Supporting SCF business partners in below areas:

  • Month end activities
  • Planning, identification, and data review to create an initial draft of insights for the business
  • Analysis to identify cost and network optimization opportunities 

Supporting Global COE team in:

  • Prepare management reports, including initial variance analysis and commentary, within the agreed timeline.
  • Develop various decks with insightful commentary, ensuring timely completion.
  • Conduct and communicate findings from various analyses.
  • Participate in process improvement projects initiated by the Global SCF COE team

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field; CIMA, ACA, or CPA preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial data analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including Power Query) and Power BI.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain business and market dynamics.
  • Technical finance and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Personal leadership and creative thinking.
