Supply Chain Finance COE Finance Manager

Lodz, Poland

 

The Supply Chain Finance COE Finance Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Center of Excellence (COE) for Supply Chain Finance. Reporting to the Director Americas Supply Chain Finance COE, this position will actively contribute to the forecasting, budgeting, and month-end processes related to Central Costs within the supply chain function for the North America region.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare Central Charges forecasts and budget for Supply Chain Finance, working closely with senior level leaders to ensure cost centers are managed appropriately.
  • Prepare Month-End close entries and analysis for Cost Centers Supported.
  • Build Relationships with business partners to support forecast/budget/month end as well as business case analysis.
  • Identify and implement ideas to optimize processes, as well as work on projects.
  • Prepare and provide explanations for SOX reporting.
  • Support other Finance partners in overall analysis of SG&A impact to P&L.
  • Participate actively in projects and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Continually standardize and optimize processes and reports across multiple business units.

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Business Administration or related filed.
  • Proven knowledge of financial accounting standards and GAAP required.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis required.
  • Experience participating on projects, supporting finance initiatives with the business, preferred.
  • Experience with transaction & reporting systems including, but not limited to Hyperion, SAP, Business Warehouse, TM1 or other local systems preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience working with Sarbanes Oxley Controls, preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communications skills with a demonstrated ability to work across functions & cultures and interact with all levels of the organization required.
  • Demonstrated ability of being a dynamic self-starter, to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems with incomplete and/or ambiguous information required and to proactively initiate action steps required.
