Position Overview

 

What You'll Do:

As our Assistant Manager Quality Assurance, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and improving processes within our growing co-manufacturer business in Australia. You’ll be working closely with suppliers to ensure their products meet our rigorous quality and food safety requirements. Here’s what you’ll be up to:

  • Risk Management: Advise co-manufacturers on technical and quality matters, ensuring seamless processes for new product development (NPD) and risk-based audits.
  • Compliance Champion: Conduct audits, review performance, and make sure new co-manufacturers meet our high standards of quality.
  • Imported Goods Oversight: Manage the inspection and release of incoming imported finished goods (IFIP) to meet Australian Quarantine requirements and ensure product integrity.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present detailed monthly reports, communicate key issues and improvements with stakeholders, and lead feedback sessions with co-manufacturers.
  • Safety First: Foster a culture of care, focusing on food safety and quality in every aspect of the supply chain.

 

Ideal Candidate

 

We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in supplier quality management – ideally within the food industry. If you have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to juggle multiple projects with precision, this is your chance to shine!

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supplier quality management. (preferably in the food industry)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
