Reporting to the Senior Accountant based at our Moorabbin airport site, you will be primarily responsible for the AR function of both our MFA & BFC business.  This is a unique opportunity to kick start your career in Finance with the support of a high performing finance team.

About The Role

 

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for the AR function for the Melbourne business while having the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Leadership Team across the Australian business while you develop your career in Finance.

 

The primary tasks of the role will include but not be limited to;

 

  • Daily reconciliation of customer payments received as per remittances and bank deposits
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries and process customer rebates, claims and credit notes
  • Maintain customer account details, contact information and credit status
  • Produce month end customer account reports
  • Assist the finance team with costings and prepare financial reports, budgets and forecasts

 

 About You

 

The successful candidate will be in their final year of completing their degree in Business or Finance or a recent graduate. As the Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for communicating with our customers and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Previous experience working with QAD and/or SAP 
  • High attention to detail
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Have a continuous learning mindset
