  • Maintain data integrity within SAP and manage material inventory - directly supporting key business decisions around NPD and growth.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner to support our supply plan and production schedule. Based in Moorabbin, this role is critical in executing our materials planning strategy and ensuring consistency across planning processes.

 

You will take ownership of material reviews, manage purchase orders, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Production Scheduling, Supply Planning, and Procurement. Your work will directly impact our ability to meet customer needs, manage supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement in our supply chain operations.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Leading weekly and daily material reviews and purchase order management
  • Supporting integrated tactical and business planning processes
  • Providing visibility on supply chain risks and opportunities
  • Participating in cross-functional initiatives (NPD, RAM, SLOB)
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance

 

About You

 

You are a strong communicator and problem-solver with a passion for supply chain coordination. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver results.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Experience in materials planning, supply chain, or production coordination
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • A proactive mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence in engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders
