We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Finance professional to join an exciting phase of growth within McCormick Australia.The Senior Finance Manager Supply Chain & Operations is responsible for providing high quality financial business partnering support and insights to the operations teams, driving cost effective manufacturing and supply chain. This role covers the end-to-end supply chain including costings of McCormick Foods Australia which is based out of Clayton manufacturing facility.

 

Reporting to the Finance Director – Australia, this role is critical in ensuring manufacturing and supply chain cost efficiencies and controls.  The successful candidate will be part of the site leadership and finance leadership teams that enables successful execution of our growth plans.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering key operational and supply teams to deliver operational performance, articulating key business drivers , opportunities and risks to deliver business objectives
  • Manages month end book close, reporting and analysis  
  • Conduct Budgets & forecasts within the IBP cycle, working with cross functional manufacturing and supply chain teams
  • Costing and Site Capital investment responsibilities
  • People Management : development of 1 direct report :  Senior supply chain cost analyst
  • Warehouse, Freight and Inventory KPI’s
  • Execution of business priorities

Your Skills

  • 8-10 years Finance experience with experience across supply chain and operations
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), People Leadership and stakeholder engagement
  • Advanced SAP and Excel skills
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong organization skills to manage competing priorities
