Costing Analyst

Business Partner working towards company goals providing of Costing and Inventory control including the complex Costing analyze vs Standard cost including PPV, Production Order Variance and Manufacturing overhead. Ensure the annual standard cost set up, optimize process of costing and raise constructive proposals for management, cost management reporting, Inventory control thru review of Obosolescence and Slow moving stock, support implementation of cycle count & stock take processes and ensure relevant cost accounting booking timely and accuracy.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Month End Closing: Prepare monthly PPV, Production Order Variance reviewing and GP analysis report and so on, and investigate abnormal fluctuation for product cost if any, and improve variance analysis model and process, provide more useful information to relevant team. Including VIS / Operations statement & COGS (Actual /Fct and Budget)
  • Standard cost: Ensure the standard cost of new product to be released timely and accurately, prepare and implement annual standard cost set up & revaluation in time.
  • Product Costing for pricing: Ensure Costing for all products done on a timely and accurate basis, including relevant accounting booking timely and accuracy.
  • Inventory: Drive management of working capital & Obsolescence and slow moving stock review including ensuring the effectiveness of inventory cycle count process are properly done by team.
  • Optimize the process of costings, detect any inefficiency and raise constructive proposals to reduce and identify cost savings (CCI)
  • Forecast: to work with procurement and production team

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years Cost Accounting, with hands-on experience inventory management, Tax, experience in SAP COPA and FICO

Communication, Drive for results, Collaboration, Details Oriented, Action Oriented.

Experience in FMCG business environment.

Experience in Costing background.
