We are looking to hire an Consumer & Markets Insights Analyst immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Bangkok office.

This role is centered on executional analytics, data integrity, reporting and syndicated insights platform mining. Closely collaborating with other members of the APAC insights team and supporting category analysis and the reporting needs of commercial function leaders the role supports improved speed and integrity of business-critical reporting. Guidance from senior insights team members will ensure McCormick can act quickly and accurately to market opportunities and threats.

Additionally, the role has an administrative function. Supporting the collection and collation of customer, consumer and competitor insights to maximize utilization of our syndicated tools. Maintaining and evolving an effective knowledge mgt. platform will ensure improved AI integration. Administrate support will extend to tracking spending against budget, generation of Insights team PO’s and PSAP approvals across APAC, releasing senior insights team members to focus of specialist research work, RGM and strategy.

 

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Insights reporting & data integrity

•           Refresh and maintenance of Power BI dashboards (All APAC)

•             Manage backend dataflows (scan data, import/export data, IMS)

•             Ensure data integrity/segmentation of new lines across IMS data (SEA), Scan (AUS/MY) & KWP (CH)

•             Market Share updating for QBR, MBR, Demand Review reporting

•             Provision of data for global reporting needs.

Support RGM functionality

  • Extract and supply required MMM data to global teams
  • Track competition pricing & competitive promotional strategies
  • Monitor distribution gaps (IMS mining)
  • Support perfect store tracking & hero SKU sell-through and inventory

Flavour Solutions agile support

  • Mine Global Data, Mintel, Euromonitor for relevant presentation support on Key FS themes, including Flavour Forecast
  • Monitor QSR LTO/Campaigns across markets to support FS and Retail ideation.

Support Brand Equity and Global Brand Reach

 

  • Support penetration tracker analytics
  • Tracking metric updates against identified Growth targets
  • Data compilation for thought leadership platforms: Consumer Day, Pulse and Innovation Stimulus
  • Local cultural and language research filter for SEA markets

Administrative Support

  • Maintain contract tracker
  • Budget Tracker,
  • PSAP documentation support and PO generation & tracking
  • Knowledge management tagging

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Discipline

Bachelor of Business/Analytics/Data Science/Computer Science or other related field.

 

Minimum Experience Required

Prior exposure to both Consumer Retail, QSR or Food Service. Preferred FMCG experience.

Experience with Power BI report building and maintenance.

 

Certifications and/or Licenses

 

 

Other Skills & Competencies

  • Strong Analytical capability.
  • Experience with retail scan data (Nielsen/Numerator/Circana)
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of data from a variety of sources to create cohesive reports to be tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Desire to develop broader insights capability
  • Work across variety of cultures in APAC.
