Import Analyst

Responsibilities of this position include executing the Import and Inbound Intercompany process for Thailand McCormick, tracking material and documents from source to release for delivery. Managing the timely delivery of Imported goods to meet the requirements of the factory

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing & submitting customs entries for SEA McCormick (Thailand & Singapore)  imports to include:  verifying source documentation, duty and taxes, timely entry and clearance of air/ocean international and cross-border shipments; controls internal release of imported merchandise, pending satisfaction of regulatory requirements, Communicating with broker/freight forwarder to complete the importing process. Raw materials import regular report and managing the daily emergencies. 
  • Management of new imported product processes of SE McCormick, improve shipping and freight arrangements, maintenance of Import files and related Import data.
  • Learn and share local government importing policy timely.
  • Manage the Intercompany inbound process.
  • Dangerous Goods Compliance Support -Assists in classification, documentation and compliance audits.
  • Samples management (including exporting and importing samples).

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelors Degree required in Business Administration, Distribution, Logistics, Transportation, International Business or related field with 1~2 years experience in Import Operations OR a Bachelors degree preferred with 3 to 5 years progressive work experience in Import Operations.
  • Customs brokerage experience desirable.
