Production Manager ( Manufacturing and Operations General )

Position Overview/Primary Purpose Overall responsibility for the production, In line with the plant performance parameters and for aligning the production staffs to short term and long term objectives. Continually improves the performance to benchmark level and heads improvement drives. Ensuring compliance with prescribed quality standards 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead plant production personal in day to day activities to ensure the quality goods are produced and delivered as per the plan All Plant Dry line, Wet line, SPICE line and Retail Line. 
  • Supervise and manage all production team to ensure that all production tasks are performed, and all machines & equipment operated safely by providing training and skill development, Coaching, training and develop subordinate competencies. 
  • Proceed to productivity improvement by setting relevant action plan. Reviewed each JD of production staffs and identify and/or check required qualification and competencies to perform the job in accordance with the position requirement. Ensure that all staffs subordinate is suitable trained / qualified /licensed for the various tasks and jobs they must completed 
  • Supervise Pre-Weight management to ensure material able to timely supply to production process and accurately. Reporting of the result and triggering improvement drives of losses, quality, energy efficiency etc. all the while ensuring that the reporting of inventory and required data per the closing requirements. 
  • Monitors and ensure proper house keeping of the areas under your control. Also, ensure compliance to regulations for the waste disposal and recycling requirement (s). Prepare management reporting as required. To prepare the action plan to keep the cost under control and per target. 
  • Providing monthly reports production numbers and other reports as needed Control and manage budget of department 
  • Providing standard costing Product and analysis production variance. 
  • To have an archive role in the company’s continuous improvement plan CCI to archive plans for future growths within the company

Required Qualifications

BSC.Food science and Technology, Engineers or relate Certifications and/or Licenses Certificate in Manufacturing or GMP, HACCP and BRC for quality system Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in food factories. Able to manage quality systems. Well understand on food operation process and capable on process improvement and people management skill. Interpersonal Skills Good communication skill in English. Influencing other for whether internal function or cross function. Other Skills & Competencies SAP, Safety, WH management
