Production Planner
Mccormick (Thailand) Ltd.

The Production Planner will leverage SAP to maximize the level of rotation of finish products, manage optimal inventory levels that generate tangible savings to the company without compromising compliance to the sales and production plan. In addition, this role will ensure the finish good product availability to support demand while optimizing inventory levels.

 

Key Responsibilities

• To balance demand and supply by supporting customer order with the lead time and minimize wet clean and change over in Production line.

• Prepare weekly production plans and participate in daily progress meetings with Production.

• Ensure new product (NPD) can start and launch with the time line and participate in NPD weekly meeting.

• Ensure visibility of production capacity vs demand plan in supply review monthly and find the option to re-balance production capacity if foresee any constraint both line capacity and man power. • To maintain accurate Routing with the correct Work Center including machine and labor (incase have new FG and Semi).

• Communicate with internal stakeholders on production dates, inventory levels, raw material shortages, OT, weekend production, capacity issues.

• Validate with material planner, materials requirements before production plan schedule.

• To adjust the new plan if there is any unplan occur with the optimal option and share any change to team.

• Solve daily output problems and deal with other functions (Production, QA, WH, CS) for pushing on output to be sold.

• Often dedicate personal time during weekend to solve/support operation issues.

• Issue rework plan for products that have quality issue or remaining stock from over freshness.

 

Qualifications and Experiences
• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain / Logistics / Purchasing or related field.
• 8 years in Supply Chain / Production Planning/ Material Planning preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good command in English both Spoken and Written.
• Good coordinating with international suppliers
• Effective communication and negotiation Skill
• Flexible and can work under pressure
• SAP or ERP program, Microsoft excel, Power point, E-mail
• Background in BRC, AIB, FSSC, GMP, HACCP, HALAL, YUM Star, McD SQMS or other food safety standard as well
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills are preferred.
• Able to articulate ideas well, enjoys problem solving & challenges with positive work attitude and approach.
• Able to work at Amata I.E. Phase10 Phanthong, Chonburi
