Position Summary: 

The Product Development Technologist - CCI & Consumer will lead new product development and CCI initiatives in the SEA region, focusing on seasonings, condiments, and coatings technology. Responsibilities include developing new and alternative flavors and ingredients, supporting new product development for consumer business, improving product quality, and optimizing costs through CCI (Comprehensive Continuous Improvement) programs and DTV (Design to Value) principles.

 

Key Responsibilties: 

To lead the CCI R&D product development initiatives collaborating within R&D product development team and cross functional teams in SEA.

To lead new product development for Consumer business in SEA applying design to value principles and right the first time mindset.

To support quality improvement of existing products, new and alternate supplier and raw material qualifications and specification development.

To ensure project management is in placed on all projects by defining and assessing project requirements, designing and managing product development on time and in full.

To support marketing and commercial team on all product development co-creation and request by our customers and distributors.

 

Desired Candidate Profile/ Minimum requirements:

  • BSc in Food Science/Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food processing organization.
  • Mandatory experience within the flavour/ ingredients segment & developing seasonings/ coatings/ condiments.
  • Problem Solving: Interpret data, solve complex problems with incomplete information, manage risk in critical decisions.
  • Collaboration: Project management, interact, seek advice, teach, influence, negotiate, and influence across the organization.
  • Communication: Good written and verbal skills, excellent computer skills, ability to present technical topics and R&D capabilities.
