Safety, Health & Environment Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental standard practices and policies to minimize workplace risks and ensure compliance with legal and corporate standards. Managing site security, including development and educating emergency respond plan.

Follow the requirements specified by the company, with awareness and emphasis on quality and safety of products together with report irregularities that may affect food quality and food safety.

 

Key Roles and Responsiblities

  • Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards in the workplace. Performing site inspections and audits, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions
  • Developing and enforcing safety protocols and environmental policies including preparing and coordinating emergency response plans. Organize, coordinate, and deliver HSE training programs for employees.
  • Leading incident investigations, determine root causes of accidents, illness or annoyance resulting from working of the employees, and summaries investigation report, together with suggesting resolution, promptly to management and ensure timely implement preventive measures.
  • Coordinating with HR for medical clearances and physical examinations. Compile statistical data, analyze, make a report and give recommendations on illness or annoyance caused by working of the employees.
  • Managing site security, PLP and leading food defense including ensure effectiveness execution of the systems.
  • Overseeing HSE performance in operations and projects. Ensure HSE report are compliance with law & regulation. Conducting safety meetings and drills to reinforce a culture of safety.

 

Education and Discipline

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science or related fields

Minimum Experience Required

8 – 10 years, familiarity with industry-specific hazards, regulatory compliance, and emergency response planning. Experience in implementation & maintaining ISO 14001 and/or ISO45001, Waste related laws and regulations, contractor safety management, security and energy management are highly valued.

Certifications and/or Licenses

Safety Officer in Professional Level License.
Obtain internal auditor in HSE or Quality system certification

Other Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
