Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift

McCormick & Company, Incorporated, a global leader in flavor, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic reporting to a Manitenance Team Manager. This individual will work at the facility in Atlanta, GA. The work schedule for this role is a 12 hour rotating night shift (6 pm - 6 am).

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Under the direction of the Team Manager, the Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical equipment and making repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshooting and repairs
• Machine adjustments with tools
• Minor fabrication of parts
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Read schematics and blueprints
• Preventive maintenance
• Product changeover
• Implement ideas to improve line efficiencies
• Quality checks

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have at least three (3) years industrial maintenance experience.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Must be very detail oriented and have strong interpersonal, communication and team based skills.
• Being a self-starter as well as a problem-solver are required assets.
• Be able to work a rotating 12 hour night shift 
• High school diploma or equivalent
