POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the general supervision of the CI/JTE Leader, the Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, job specific, and other training is scheduled, delivered and tracked. The Training Coordinator will be expected to work cross-functionally to maintain Training reporting systems and databases. This role is designed to assist in the development of sustainable training systems to eliminate losses as part of the High Performance Organization and Total Productive Maintenance framework.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and coordinate classroom training events

Assist with the design and deliver of job specific training

Schedule, deliver, and track all regulatory compliance, company related, and job specific internal training

Provide administrative support to the Training and Development Pillar and operations departments relative to training needs

Work closely with Safety, Quality and Operations to develop, implement, automate, optimize and maintain training processes to support safety, quality, productivity and efficiency initiatives

Actively participate as a system owner and methodology expert on the Training and Development (T & D) Pillar

Lead and/or Coach loss reduction teams in accordance with the established Training and Development Pillar standard to close proficiency gaps in coordination with facility loss analysis

Act as administrator for the SOP database on the McCormick Sharepoint for training

Coordinate and participate in New Department/New Hire Orientation. Coordinate Train-the-trainer programs in cooperation with stakeholders. Prepare and assemble all materials (ie handouts, agendas, assessments) related to internal training. Prepare and disseminate training completion reports, competency, and training effectiveness result

Review current qualification, proficiency and certification process, review with SMEs, make recommended changes

Adjust work schedule by shift and/or work day to support business requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum two (2) years of experience in Training, Operations, and/or Manufacturing fields required.

Demonstrated experience with a Learning Management System (LMS).

Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and standard operating procedures, required.

Experience following detailed procedures and completing accurate paperwork required.

Demonstrated experience in project management and working collaboratively in an HPO Team environment.

Experience adhering to and following company, plant, regulatory standards, required.

Ability to learn and train others on the use of company-related or department specific equipment. This includes the ability to present information in a logical manner and check for understanding to ensure transfer of knowledge.

Ability to effectively communicate written and orally with all levels of the organization.

Ability to create routine reports, develop training and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Ability to concentrate in a high traffic area and maintain confidential information as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) operations experience.

Demonstrated experience with Training or Production analytics.
-
Knowledge of MS Project, MS Visio, SAP or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool.

Experience with high speed, food packaging and processing equipment.
