EMEA CONSUMER SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR 

Reporting to the EMEA Consumer Operations & Supply Chain Director, the EMEA Consumer Supply Chain Director leads and organizes Supply Chain across EMEA network for Consumer business., and provides support and direction to the Commercial Unit on change projects, launches, innovations and service improvements as required.

 

PRINCIPALES MISSIONS

  • Lead the Business Unit EMEA Supply Chain strategy, objectives and programs in support of the business road map for Consumer or Flavour Solutions.
  •  Lead the S&OP continuous improvement and roll out process within EMEA.
  • Provide supply chain support to the Flavour Solutions or Consumer commercial teams. Accountable for supply solutions to meet changing business needs and priorities.
  • Accountable for progress reporting (including KPIs) against improvement plans and targets, provide regular and ad-hoc supply chain analysis.
  • Accountable for key supply chain initiatives to provide business benefits, devise strategic and tactical plans for the management of materials supply, inventory and costs.
  • Develop planning processes to deliver the strategic business plan in a cost-effective manner, collaborate between commercial and operations teams to maximize shareholder value from strategy deployment.
  • Develop Supply Chain as a core McCormick competency across the region, contributing expertise to all appropriate business projects, exploit appropriate opportunities to widen the influence of McCormick in the supply chain theatre.
  • Support the development, integration and deployment of appropriate business systems (e.g. , APO, SAP) and support the implementation of Company standards and processes as regards to business planning integration.
  • Lead a large team of Supply Chain managers & specialists through the recruitment, training, development, engagement across the zone, appropriate cross training, succession planning and transferable skills development

 

PROFIL SOUHAITE

  • Approximately 10 years’ experience in supply chain roles preferably in food / FMCG or automotive.
  • Demonstrated success of supply chain and change management in international roles and transformation projects. SAP implementation is a plus.
  • Experience of overhead budget management.
  • Worked on cross-functional projects / supply chain re-engineering, track record of successful team working.
  • Experience of manufacturing or cross border manufacturing and distribution management.
  • Strong demand planning technical accumen.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and "Best Practices."
  • Knowledge of integrated Supply Chain systems (i.e., SAP R/3, SEM, APO) required.
  • Advanced analytical skills including business and financial analyses. Advanced PC application skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, oral/written communication, and process facilitation skills.
  • Ability to build high performance/self-directed teams (subfunction and cross functional).
  • High level of negotiation and influencing skills, strong communication & ability to influence supply chain practices to suppliers and customers.
