Warehouse Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the direction of the Team Manager and Crew Leader, responsible for the coordination of warehouse/order selection activities to include order delegation, LMS reporting and timekeeping activities. Responsibilities include coordinating the transfer of raw materials and finished goods between McCormick facilities, processing Material Stock Orders, arranging for past shelf life and defective material removal from inventory and disposal, performing non-inventory/back flush counts, and resolving PO receipt discrepancies.  Will work with the all departments to execute RTV’s and RAIL.    Research inventory and special projects as required.  Will provide support for process improvement, safety, sanitation, and training initiatives.  Acts as a liaison between department(s). Acts as a back up to the Crew Leader and Warehouse Technicians.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Warehousing experience required and 2 years of shipping/Receiving experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to use calculator, on-line systems including PC databases, Outlook, Excel and word processing required.
• Must have fork lift license & experience operating all types of material handling equipment, including reach, stand up, sit down, walking transporter & riding transporter.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
• High level of numerical computation skills and analytical skills required.
• Must have excellent Communication skills.
• Must have excellent clerical and math skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to concentrate in high traffic area and ability to maintain confidential information required.
• Overtime on short notice required including weekends.
• Knowledge of ERP Warehouse Management System required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Industrial order selection experience desired.
• Receiving/Shipping experience desired.  
• Overtime on short notice required.
