Position Overview

Audits and maintains records of all inventory materials, which consist of finished goods and in-process materials, and packaging supplies. Prepares reports, spreadsheets, collects data, analyzes data to determine root cause and recommendations for resolution.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Cycle counts finished goods and in-process materials, which consists of finished goods, and in-process materials and packaging supplies, comparing computer system count against physical count.
  2.  Makes proper adjustments to correct inventory system record errors.
  3.  Reviews correct and determine the cause of discrepancies found by examining transactions and material movements previously made.
  4. Conducts audits to monitor operations, paperwork flow, and procedures relating to the recording of inventory transactions in all departments and issue reports to department crew leaders for possible resolution.
  5. Performs special cycle count requests and inventory projects as required. Documents operational procedure.
  6. Assists departments in training as required and assists in location label printing.
  7. May operate forklift and aerial lift to count inventory stored in racks up to 35 ft. high and hard to reach places when necessary. Other office duties or projects as assigned.



  1. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  2. 2 years prior inventory production/warehouse experience.
  3. Good math and analytical skills required.
  4. Able to successfully complete material handling safety courses and obtain OSHA certification to drive a forklift
  5. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
  6. Individual should be computer literate
  7. Must be able to work in a dusty environment with strong odors.
  8. Must have the ability to read, write, and perform simple math calculations.
  9. Able to communicate effectively and work well with others.
  10. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to follow established procedures
