We are looking to hire a Distribution Technician III – 2nd Shift immediately at our RDC Plant located at 1550 MS-302 in Byhalia, MS.
PRIMARY PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF THE JOB (2-3 sentences)
Under the general supervision of the Team Manager or Warehouse Supervisor, is responsible for picking/packing/shipping
all customer orders in a timely (measured through Labor Management System - LMS) and accurate manner while operating
material handling equipment (transporter, forklift, etc.). Performs general warehouse duties including loading, inbound
receiving, returns, organizing, put-aways, replenishment, wrapping and push-offs and order selection. Is responsible for
accurate input and provides customers with specific documentation and special services as needed. Other duties include
filling"shorted" orders, co-label order selection, export order selection, and assisting with inventory. Participates in Team
meetings and completes special projects assigned. Incumbent is subject to temperature extremes. Overtime on short notice
may be required
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDE ONLY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Include percent of time for

1 Performs assignments in one of the following seven activity groups: Order Selection, Replenishment, Inbound, Outbound, Returns, Organizer, Repack/Hazmat. May be required to perform other activities based on business needs. Career progression will require to cross-train in multiple activity groups. Operates transporter, stand-up, reach or sit-down fork truck. 85
2 Completes all paperwork & system transactions in accordance with standard departmental operating procedures. Paperwork can include, pick list, labels, tagging and any customer required placards. 5
3 Identifies and communicates issues to shift crew leader, warehouse supervisor, team manager. Attends shift/team meetings and recommends general process improvements. 5
4 Performs general duties including sanitation and battery changing. 5
5 Promotion to the next level is dependent upon the following criteria: Performs two years in expanded role in either Safety management, Efficiency management, Training management, or Quality management/ OR performs one additional activity group for a total of four of seven activity groups.

B. Minimum level of education required to perform the job.
C. Preferred level of education – why? GED Must have basic math, reading, and speaking skills.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS/STANDARDS, LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS IN ADDITION TO
GENERAL EDUCATION:
A. Minimum required certifications required to perform the job. Forklift License
B. Additional certifications preferred. SAP Transactions/Process Training
EXPERIENCE: (Minimum number of years and type of experience required to perform the job, specify number of years
in relevant disciplines/ roles.)
Experience using material handling equipment in a warehouse environment preferred. Basic MS Windows experience
preferred.
