Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our global organization to work the afternoon shift. As part of a small, dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our production machinery and ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities;
- Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical machinery breakdowns effectively.
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and maintenance as required.
- Adhere to Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and managing maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team to implement Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives.
About You
Our preferred candidate is a motivated Maintenance Electrician looking to make an impact in a thriving food manufacturing environment and demonstrate the following;
- Must be a trade qualified electrician holding the relevant certifications.
- Must have experience with CMMS.
- Advanced understanding of production machine operation within FMCG.
- Strong trouble shooting skills for mechanical machinery.
- Exposure to Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
