Role Responsibilities  
 

  • Lead a team of nine fitters and electricians across three shifts (day, afternoon and night) and Maintenance Planner
  • Actively involved in H&S Committee ensuring maintenance are closing out hazards
  • Valued member of the site leadership team, working cross-functionally to support plant performance, deliver initiatives and foster a high-performance culture
  • Work with the Maintenance team to develop and deploy preventative maintenance program
  • Lead the execution of the PM Pillar as part of a broader Operational Excellence initiative
  • Involvement in capital projects in partnership with project engineers where required
  • Partner with Production leaders to drive the plant performance through effective maintenance of machinery
     

 

Technical Skills & Experience Required

 

  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Five years’ experience in a leadership role in a medium to large manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience leading and implementing TPM / Lean Operational Excellence priorities
  • Ability to lead RCA and support the team to resolve issues at the cause and implement solutions
  • Prior experience managing a budget greater than $1m
  • High level of technical aptitude
  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
