Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Process Engineer supports daily process

improvement across the site, focusing on standardization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement

projects. The role works with cross-functional managers (Safety, Engineering, Quality, CI) to provide

timely support and help implement improvements.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support daily process improvement activities with a strong focus on standardization and effective problemsolving.
  • Assist in delivering continuous improvement projects and monitor followup actions and results.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Safety, Quality, Engineering, CI, Operations) to drive implementation of site priorities.
  • Provide technical support to operators and contribute to aligning procedures across processing, packaging, maintenance, and engineering areas.
  • Develop, update, and maintain plant documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and standard practices.
  • Coordinate with Facility Management teams (cleaning, technicians, security) to ensure safe, reliable, and consistent site services.
  • Support sourcing activities by identifying and evaluating local and international vendor alternatives to enhance cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
  • Participate regularly in Gemba walks and track actions to closure within agreed timelines.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Proven experience in production and/or engineering roles, ideally with exposure to factory utilities.
  • Familiarity with plant operations and processing/packaging equipment; experience collaborating on procedure development with crossfunctional teams.
  • Basic understanding of continuous improvement methods and problemsolving tools.
  • Good planning and organizational abilities; detailoriented and capable of working with limited supervision.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills and proactive approach to small improvements within the department.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Nice-to-have experience in food processing, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environments.
