MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Carrying out quality control activities in a shift system, in Dubai Production facilities, in a customer- oriented manner, in a way that ensures all quality standards
  • Provide quality controls and conduct quality control tests for the process and finished product.
  • Approval of products conforming to standards (Positive release)
  • Checking the compliance of raw materials with quality standards.
  • Conduct physical, chemical, sensory analysis, and manage micro-tests (to contact the external laboratory) for the relevant products.
  • Prepare analysis certificate for products
  • Conduct regular facility rounds with the Operation Team Leader, make the report and follow up the closure of the finding.
  • Conduct monthly GMP audit and confirm the CAPA and closure, update on intelex.
  • Identifying nonconformities and taking preventive actions. Manage quality notification for both RM & FG and follow up closure.
  • Investigating customer complaints with production supervisors.
  • To follow business quality standard management policies that are compatible with regional global standards.
  • Supporting the new product manufacturing process.
  • Monitor and verify the EMP (swab) program.
  • Pest control management and follow ups.
  • Manage calibration of equipments.
  • Participate and support in internal audits.
  • Conduct allergen /CCP/ cleaning validations as per schedule or as required.
  • Conduct traceability and mock recall in coordination with the Quality & Food Safety
  • Effectively taking part to support customer and third party audits.
  • Support incident management program.
  • Support food defense program.
  • Flexible in shift patterns.
  • Ensure that a safe working environment and site philosophy is maintained.
  • Ensure that the factory is in full compliance with all legislative regulations

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • BSc in food science or food technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years in the Food Industry.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge or working knowledge of BRCGS.
  • Lead or internal auditor certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of food processes, HACCP, risk management and sanitation ideally gained in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of the commercial environment and customers' requirements and expectations.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ready to work in shift patterns.
