District Manager - Arizona



McCormick & Company, Inc., a world leader in the spice, flavor and seasonings industry, is seeking a full time District Manager  on our Mojave business. This new hire will work in our SouthWest Region,based out of a home office in Arizona. The District Manager will report to the Sales Director.

This District Manager will primarily be responsible for the achievement of district sales objectives and specific volume goals through execution of account plans and brand strategies. This person will also supervise Independent Distributors, Route Sales Representatives and their support teams to ensure all customers are properly serviced with Mojave products.


  • Develops and delivers customer plans to achieve volume and profit objectives.
  • Delivers short & long-term solutions through best practice thought leadership.
  • Primary and day-to-day selling interface at customer HQ penetrating highest levels within the
  • selling/customer organization.
  • Determine promotional pricing, forecasts & distribution opportunities for existing brands and new products.
  • Sell-in of retail controllables with customer--mix, promotion, shelf, display
  • Customer deal negotiations for volume and discount contracts.
  • Develop specific account plans for distributors and retailers, implement tactics for: promotion, pricing, distribution, schematics & category management across Mojave brands.
  • Manage retail execution, perform retail audits and conduct distributor forums and retail meetings as necessary.
  • Manage the schedules and service levels of Route Sales Representatives and Distributors.
  • Overnight travel may be required.


  • 3 years of Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Finance, DSD or related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field.
  • Knowledge of procedures and concepts within the sales process.
  • An understanding of how district sales roll-up to Zone, Region, Division and company objectives & goals.
  • Understands industry sector and competitive landscape. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.


  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
