As a member of the Blending Team, the incumbent will:

  • Set up and operate all pieces of the blending equipment, open and add ingredients to blenders, as well as

perform ingredient kit building tasks

  • Understand and follow all instructions on production cards and daily schedule (i.e. weights, label

requirements, formula integrity, machine number, etc.)

  • Keep accurate production records; report information daily; accurate reporting in SAP
  • Inspect in-process and finished goods for proper weights, labeling, packaging, pallet configuration. Correct

and/or report defects

  • Perform sanitation duties, proper housekeeping, and adhere to safety and GMP procedures
  • Help maintain equipment, report all machinery breakdowns or problems
  • Perform changeovers and wash downs (including chemical) of equipment, as well as change screens,

assemble socks and clean totes, on an as-needed basis

  • Participate in team/department meetings, actively offering suggestions where warranted

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic math, reading and writing skill required
  • Basic computer knowledge is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb. required
  • Proven mechanical ability preferred
  • 3 year in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment with strong odors and high noise/decibel levels required
  • Ability to work in environment with potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents required
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice and weekends required
  • Ability to work in a team environment required
