Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the development, improvement and adherence to manufacturing processes on the floor in the manufacturing departments.

 

The Process Tech will focus on reducing variation in processes by providing standardized documentation and providing appropriate training concerning documentation updates.  They will be responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation to support production, processing, maintenance and project needs.  As a member of the cross-functional team they support problem solving activities with a focus on documenting changes and maintaining consistent and standardized documentation across the plant.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Audit processes, centerline sheets, and startup/shut down sheets for compliance
  • Collect and analyze data on line performance for process improvement and problem solving for downtime reduction
  • Assist with key loss point analysis
  • Assist Engineers with the development of new procedures and edits to existing procedures and validate temporary procedure changes
  • Coordinate TPM activity and participate in cross-functional team meetings
  • Leads TEO implementation and maintains system and equipment ownership
  • Drives execution of Technician training plans
  • Works cross-functionally with the teams on process documentation and standardization efforts

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Acceptable attendance.
  • Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 years of packaging and production experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and correct problems on a variety of equipment
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Demonstrated experience in Excel and PowerPoint
  • .Proven ability to train and lead others.
  • Demonstrated process improvement ability and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form
  • Ability to work overtime/weekends
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a team environment

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in Access
