Under the general supervision of the Warehouse Crew Leader, the Material Handler position exists to  support production   by loading/ receiving and/or transporting raw materials and packaging material to specified areas in production.

Transport raw materials and packaging material to speicified areas for use and return to proper areas

Receives delivery of raw materials and performs required inventory control transactions

Complete and process required inventory control transaction, scanning, printing barcodes

Process returns, if excess material in (SAP)

Maintain materials in a manner that facilitatates FIFO production rotation.

Transport/Store materials to maintain warehouse and production areas in a orderly manner.

Perform daily housekeeping duties in production and warehouse areas. Sweeping, collecting trash.

Load and unload trucks and with dock personnel to insure effective operation of shipping dock activities

One year of powered industrial truck experience in a production or warehouse environment

Basic math, reading and writing skills

Basic computer skills

Verbal and written communication skills
