Position Overview / Primary Purpose
The Ariba Supplier Enablement Analyst is the primary liaison between McCormick, suppliers, and SAP Ariba (when SAP Ariba Services are leveraged).

Approve lists of suppliers targeted for Ariba Network enablement

Create, establish and execute process related to Ariba enablement

Establish rules of cooperation between teams/departments
-
Build enablement strategy, create Flight Plan
-
Schedule future waves, create timelines
-
Lead supplier communications
-
Approve and create supplier communications and education materials to be shared with suppliers

Coordinate/actively support system test and UAT
-
Manage supplier relationships, reinforce supplier enablement program compliance with identified suppliers and internal stakeholders

Escalation process for non-compliance
-
Facilitate supplier training sessions (if any)
-
Lead/participate in regular status meetings
-
Build Ariba awareness within McC structure, promote the initiative internally with category managers, business relationship owners, and AP group

Host knowledge sharing meetings
-
Handle escalations related to area of operations
-
Lead internal McC communication related to service in scope
-
Manage and create content of Ariba intranet and internet webpages
-
Identify improvement opportunities and translates these as specific project
-
Analyze available reports to provide recommendations within the scope
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily – 60%

Subject Matter Expert of SAP Ariba Enablement module for global point of contact
-
Lead and ensure effective operations with Ariba global Supplier Enablement processes & systems
-
Prepare plans & review target supplier list
-
Resolve escalations & issues, monitor escalation procedure
-
Implementation support, system testing, and project management
-
Align stakeholders and suppliers with training opportunities, user guides, FAQs, etc
-
Review opportunities with data enrichment, complex content validation etc.

Change Management - build Ariba awareness within McC structure & targeted suppliers
2. Daily – 15%

Prepare reports and analyses, both regular and ad-hoc

Perform audits and control checks as assigned
3. Daily – 10%

Lead & participate in projects

Initiate & execute process improvement initiatives

Backup for support of other Ariba S2P modules (CM, SLP, Catalogue etc)
4. As Needed – 10%

Support chosen workflows & tools in Procurement & Accounting area

Manage and create content for Ariba intranet and internet webpages

Required Qualifications
Level of Education and Discipline-BSC
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in international work environment (including internship)

Experience in Procurement or Accounting
-
Knowledge of SAP (MM) system
-
Knowledge of SAP Ariba system
-
Previous participation in project teams (as project member or manager)

Able to use/write VBA (macros) or Winshuttle experience or automation experience
