Position Overview

 

  • Lead the India Automation Development Team by providing technical direction, coaching, and career development support to team members
  •  Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions that align with business needs and global standards
  •  Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable automation code by promoting best practices and continuous technical improvement
  • Collaborate with Global Automation Delivery Sr. Manager to maintain a unified methodology and consistent development practices across regions
  • Work closely with the broader Data, Analytics & Automation team to align development priorities with key priorities strategic goals
  • Drive the creation and ongoing enhancement of process documentation to ensure clear, reusable, and auditable automation components
  • Partner with the PI team to proactively assess process landscapes, validate high-impact automation opportunities, and close gaps that could hinder solution effectiveness or scalability
  • Partner closely with the Process Automation Manager to ensure seamless transition of automation solutions into production, enabling stability, scalability, and long-term operational success
  • Lead and contribute to automation-related projects such as platform upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementation
  • Monitor and report on development KPIs and automation value realization metrics such as hours saved and business impact
  • Foster a problem-solving culture within the team and encourage process improvement through automation and innovation

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on prioritization for India Automation Team, based on business needs and available resources.
  • Provide technical leadership across all aspects of automations management and development lifecycle
  • Up to 30% of operational work based on business priorities
  • Lead and support automation projects, including the adoption of new technologies, solution redesigns, platform enhancements, and the delivery of scalable, future-ready automation initiatives
  • Planning resources, projects, forecasting and providing weekly/ monthly reports/ updates on project progress.
  • KPI reporting on a monthly basis
  • Escalations management, auditing and RCA for the delayed and mistaken tasks
  • Conducting recruitment process to the India Automation Team and monitoring risk of loss and potential development of team members

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field required. UiPath Developer Foundation (Academy 2), UiPath Advanced Certification; UiPath Orchestrator (most relevant version), UiPath SAP, Solution Architect, and CV (online training)

  • 1-2 years’ experience in People Management
  • Process improvement and facilitation experience essential
  • 2-4 years of demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and experiences with automation tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with shared services processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, or Hire to Retire, Master Data Management).
  • 3+ years of demonstrated knowledge and expertise with SAP, GTS, and or BW/EDW business processes.
